Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 10, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Backstop Digital ("we," "us") collects and uses information when you visit this website or purchase our services.
1. Information we collect
- Purchase information: when you buy a website, Stripe collects your name, email, billing details, and payment information. We receive your name, email, team name, and payment status — never your full card number.
- Project information: team data you send us to build your site (rosters, schedules, photos, logos, player details).
- Basic usage data: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) used to operate and secure the site.
2. How we use information
- To deliver, brand, and seed your team website.
- To process payments and send receipts (via Stripe).
- To provide support during your 30-day support period.
- To respond to your questions and communicate about your project.
3. Children's information
Team data you provide may include information about athletes under 18. We use that information only to build and support your website, and we rely on you to have obtained parent/guardian consent before sharing it with us. We will remove a minor's information from materials we hold upon request from a parent, guardian, or the team.
4. Sharing
We do not sell your information. We share it only with service providers needed to operate the business — payment processing (Stripe), website hosting, and email — and when required by law.
5. Retention
We keep project materials for as long as needed to deliver and support your website, and purchase records as required for accounting and legal purposes. You may request deletion of project materials we no longer need by emailing us.
6. Your choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you by emailing shane@gobackstop.com.
7. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time; the latest version will always be posted on this page.
8. Contact
Email shane@gobackstop.com with any privacy questions.
